Mother's food.....

Everything remains the same
The utensils…The groceries
The spices…The proportions

I try to imitate you…Boil..cook…fry
The procedures…the methods
Everything remains the same

But I never get the same feel
When I eat the food cooked by me!
Slowly I realized the fact…
After  this many years
After  me also becoming a mother

That….nothing can replace the taste
A food cooked with mother's love
A food filled with her affection
That gives the aroma
The brings the taste
That fills the stomach
That satiates the soul

A food cooked with mother's love - There is no substitute for love and the actions of the heart. Great emotion in this.

How very true... The best food is that cooked with love for people you love. I am sure your own children will feel that same way when they eat the food that you prepare for them!

So very true, PT. That food made by mother cannot be surpassed. The memories of the tastes of a mother's love-cooked food lasts forever but cannot be replicated.

This is so true, PT. One can never fully replicate one's mother's dishes. My own grandmother had a recipe for a cake that all her children loved. Nowadays when they make it, all the cakes taste different.

I love this. My daughter often complains that her food, cooked exactly like mine, just doesn't taste the same. Now I know why.

A nice tribute to mom's home cooking! Love is the most important ingredient, isn't it?

Nicer. Just perfect and so true. And I hope my kids feel the same way, even though it wasn't as good as my mom's and dad's cooking!
